Sometimes, clients might not appear in Slant after an import, or data might seem incomplete. Here are some common reasons and how to resolve them:

Troubleshooting common issues

1. Client status or type

If the client status or type is not set in your CRM, Slant will not import the client. We recommend reviewing your Wealthbox client statuses and ensuring they are configured to include the clients you expect.

2. Assigned client owner

Slant is configured to only import clients with a specific owner. Only clients who are assigned to you will be brought into your Book in Slant. If you are missing clients in Slant, check to see if they are assigned to someone else in Wealthbox.

3. Missing households

In Slant, a client is synonymous with a ‘Household’ in Wealthbox. If you have not already created a household record for your clients, Slant will automatically create one for you. If you’ve tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, feel free to reach out to support@slant.app.

To manually add a client, click the + New client button in the top right of the Clients page.
